We recommend wearing your braids for up to 6–8 weeks. You can swim with the hair, but rinse or wash the braids after swimming and let them dry properly.
For best results, we recommend using a braider who is experienced or trained in working with silky braiding hair, as this texture requires a gentle and proper technique for a smooth, neat finish.
KŌVIA braiding hair is created for soft, lightweight, and beautiful braid styles. To achieve the best finish, here's how to prep and install:
Lightly mist the KŌVIA hair with a leave-in conditioner and water mix or oil sheen before separating the hair.
Gently brush through the hair to smooth the strands and make it easier to work with.
Separate the hair with care into your preferred braid sections.
For curly or wavy ends, leave out enough length to create your desired finish.
Secure the ends neatly to help keep the braids in place.
Avoid hot water, direct heat, or heat tools on pre-curled ends, as this may change the curl pattern.
